Today we set a new record in the temperature from a previous record set in 1930. At 5:30pm, the tempature was 99.8 with a heat index of 123. I believe that has to be the hottest I've seen in a long time!
I think the sweat was sweating as it rolled down my face!
Our trusty theometer was recording a reading well above the 110 mark!
Sounds bad when you get into the pool to feel refreshed and you have to go to the shadiest spot in the pool...and you're still sweating!
Cold front coming through the 'burg in a few days. Temperature is expected to be only 88 on Friday!
