iu wins

Well, I have been criticizing the Hoosiers and their idiot coach, Tom Crean lately because they suck and what happens? IU defeated Michigan, 80-61, at Assembly Hall in Bloomington on Saturday, January 15, 2011!

I guess since I've been critical of their program for several years, I should give them credit when they win. (They probably cheated! It's Assembly Hall, ya know!)

The next game is this Thursday against Wisconsin at 9PM on ESPN.

Yawn...

Addicting Apps!

My BFF Shelley posted on her blog about some cool apps she had downloaded. You can read about it here:

http://whatifitdid.com/2011/01/my-favorite-ipad-and-iphone-apps/

I tried some of 'em and also found one I couldn't live without! (I'll share the new app information shortly)

Angry Birds-Holiday edition, opens up a whole new set of levels to conquer.

Shelley also blogged about Touchwriter. This app is cool and will save you tons of time trying to text on your little typewriter. Just open Touchwriter and write your messages, notes, etc.

The new app I found really addicting is Burn the Rope.

This is the easiest and legal way to be a pyromaniac and have fun at the same time.

There are several levels to this app too. Red, green, blue, purple ants and beetles, spiders, (you get to burn the spiders, and I really love that!)and really neat music to go along with it!

Download it today, choose a level and enjoy this fun game on your iPhone or iPad!

WARNING: These apps are addicting!

Another One Bites The Dust!

Florida State men’s basketball team 12-5, 2-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, beat the previously unbeaten and #1 team Duke Blue Devils 66-61 leaving just four unbeaten teams in the top 25 in Division 1 Men’s Basketball. You might be asking why this has any relevance to me. Well, the last men’s basketball team, in Division 1, to go undefeated throughout the season and win the National Championship was the 1976Indiana Hoosiers who were coached by Robert Montgomery Knight!

Ohio State, Kansas, Syracuse, and San Diego State remain undefeated for the year, but all see action this Saturday in games so there could be no one left after this weekend. I think it will be safe to say IU will remain the last team to complete an undefeated season and cap it off with a National Championship.

Ahhhh, the glory days!

Changes? For The Better?

I heard on the radio this morning about some changes in NASCAR. Nothing new...seems like there are always changes. But this time it was good changes! In 2011, drivers must choose which division they are driving in, at the beginning of the season, and will be able to collect points in one series, not all three!

All I can say is...IT'S ABOUT TIME!

I never liked the experienced drivers driving in the Saturday races and beating the rookies. It seemed like they never had a chance with Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, and others. There are other format changes coming and will be announced later this month. Changes in the Chase format will also take place. Guess the big wigs are trying to find a way to keep Jimmy Johnson from winning his sixth championship in a row. Someone should tell them, JJ is the pre-season favorite to win again.

Some important dates to remember are:

February 20 - Daytona
March 20 - Bristol
July 9 - Kentucky
July 31 - Indianapolis
November 20 - Homestead

Won't be long before we hear the most popular words in racing, "Gentlemen, start your engines!"

TONY!

IU Sucks!

The Indiana Hoosiers played a college basketball game at Northwestern Sunday night. IU is currently 9-8 overall and 0-4 in the Big Ten Conference. In the good ole' days, the game against Northwestern was a given. Not now. IU sucks!

At some point during Sunday nights game, Indiana was down by 24 points!

Northwestern 93
Indiana 81

Final.

IU sucks!

This is a picture of their ignorant coach, Tom Crean:

How can you be this happy after a loss? Jeezzz!

Saturday night the Hoosiers play Michigan at Assembly Hall. Their home court. I'm pretty positive IU's overall record will drop to .500 and they will remain winless in the conference.

Indiana Hoosiers suck!

It's The New Year!

Wow! Time sure flies by quickly. Here we are in 2011 already, which just doesn't seem possible. It's that time of year where resolutions have been made and usually kept for a few days or weeks. Probably some have already brokne their attempt at a better year (better luck next year), and some are still right on track the third day of this new year, (Hooray for you)!

Some top resolutions are the same as in year's past: spend time with family and friends, make more money, quit smoking, lose weight, become more healthy, etc...

I didn't make any resolutions this year but I still have hopes of daily attempts at doing things better and making life easier. I have been noticing for about the last week on television the abundance of weight commercials, advertising a pill to help you quit smoking, and several others that goes along with our new resolutions. This has nothing to do with a resolution, it's just my favorite commercial:

For those of you that are attempting to stick to and complete your new resolutions, I applaud you and wish you success. For those of you that have already broken your promise, don't worry, 2012 will be here before you know it!

Happy New Year to all my readers!
