FFA Banquet

April 2, 2009 the Crothersville FFA held it's annual banquet to honor their members and community residents who have helped make the FFA the huge success it is. Here's a picture of the winners:



Standing in the back row are: Erica Doyle, Logan Isenhower, Dillon Maxie, Denise Maxie, Bailey Lundy, Leah Schill. Seated are: Cody Brasher, Charlie Densford, Connie Hoskins, Judy Johnson, representing Dollar General, Jennifer Wienhorst, representing Cerro Wire, and Joey Needler. Seated on stage are Patrick Sweazy, Corey Street, Kaitlyn Hoevener, Jimmy Needler and Kelsey Hoskins.

Patrick won the Golden Spatula Award, Cooperative Award, Greenhand Award and the 8th grade points award!

The most moving moment of the evening (other than Patrick winning his awards) was when the seniors speak about what FFA has meant to them during their high school career. Cody Brasher gave a moving speech that brought me and several others to tears. Cody along with all the seniors will definitely be missed!

Sad thing is in just four years Patrick will be giving his senior farewell speech! GASP!!!
