Next month I have an appointment with my family doctor for my annual physical. I thought I'd have to wait till then to get the news about myself, but I was wrong! I got the 'all about me' diagnosis this morning...and I'm happy to say it didn't cost me a dime!
It seems I have a 'new' bestie I didn't even know about. Someone who has been tracking my every move, watching me when they didn't think I would notice. The accusations they made are true and false. Not sure if I'd say false or just flat out lying.
There is a blog I frequent, along with several others, but this particular one I visit when I need a good laugh. Upon my visit to this blog, if the person has posted, I usually sit back in amazement thinking, "Does she really think people are going to believe this shit?"
Her latest post has my name mentioned, in pretty bold, blue lettering and spelled correctly!!! Both my first and last name!!! She knows I visit her blog, she knows from which computer I visit. She thinks I have been trying to hide something?? I don't understand what I have to hide. It's a public blog, just like mine and anyone can view it if they have the address. Honestly, I have told a few people the address so they can see this unbelievable crap for themselves.
I'm telling you, you just have to see it to believe it!
She has accused me of signing in as an anonymous person and making a comment on her post. That is another lie and something I have not done and will not do. I actually considered posting this as a comment to her insane post on her blog, but figured she would somehow alter what I'm saying and turn it into more lies, so I just posted it here on my blog so the facts will be correct.
I guess I will call my doctor first thing in the morning and cancel my annual physical for next week since I already know everything about me! ;)

Michigan vs Crothersville
Today the Tiger baseball team traveled to Austin to play Tri County, a team from Michigan. The Tiger's home field was too wet to play in Crothersville. Austin was playing Sparta, another team from Michigan at 2PM this afternoon, so they were kind enough to let their neighbors use their facility.
Tri County is a school of approximately 700 students in high school and a class 2A school. Their school is around 25 miles from Grand Rapids, Michigan. They are on spring break and traveling to their next regional tournament game.
Since they were traveling through our area, they contacted our athletic director to see if they could play our team. It was interesting to see if they were any different than our team. They weren't. Their team consisted of 4 seniors, 10 juniors, and 2 sophomores. They were a bit older than our team, but we were still able to play the game against them.
During warm ups, Patrick was able to field the ball and make a good throw to Dalton at first.
The Tigers managed 6 runs in 6 innings. Patrick scored the first run for the Tigers on a walk. His second at bat for the afternoon was also a walk but he failed to make it home.
In his final at bat in the fifth inning, the pitcher finally threw some strikes. After a couple foul tips, Tri County's pitcher finally got the best of Patrick and he stuck out, swinging and missing the last pitch.
Final score of the afternoon was Tri County 17, Crothersville 6.
Four baseball games and a golf match will make for a busy week, but hopefully I'll manage some more pictures to share. Stay tuned.

FORE!!!
Today, Tuesday, April 8 was Patrick's first golf match.
What a beautiful course this is! This was also my first time at an actual match. I was froze to the bone with the 30+mph winds and 40 degree temperatures. Certainly not my idea of an evening on a golf course.

Saturday was Patrick's first baseball game with the Crothersville High School team! He was so excited he said he could hardly sleep Friday night. Once he got up and showered, he sat down in the living room and took in a deep breath and said, "My dream has come true! I've waited all my life to play my first high school game, and today I get that chance!"
He said in four years his dream will come true by playing in his first college game and then someday his first game as a New York Yankee!
He was so excited all day long he could barely set still and was helping everybody. Here he's getting a drink of Gatorade for the umpires.
He got tickled when the umpire asked if he had 'spiked' it with anything and the coach from Christian Academy wanted some too!
I had made the team biscuits and gravy before the early morning game, but by noon they were hungry for lunch. Thanks to the parents, the team enjoyed a delicious snack at lunch to help them make it throughout the day.
Patrick finally made it into the game and was up to bat. He had his eye on the ball as it passed by him low and outside. Good eye Patrick!
Next pitch was right where he wanted it! Eye on the ball and the follow through.
The long fly ball turned into a double!
Later he stole third and was congratulated by Coach Adams...
Bases are loaded and the next batter walks, which scores Patrick!
Unfortunately, the Tigers lost their home opener, but everyone expects great things from this years Tiger team!
I know one team member who can't wait for the next opportunity to put on his uniform and take the field in hopes of his first high school win!

64 to 65 to 96!
No surprise to most, but I'm a huge sports fan. Basketball, baseball, football, NASCAR, volleyball, softball, etc. You name it, I probably have played or watched it sometime or another.
Today I read where the NCAA is talking about increasing the field of 65 tournament teams to 96! My first thought was, yippie! More college basketball! But after reading some comments and doing a little thinking myself, I'm not so sure this is a good idea.
An earlier post I made in reference to the graduation rate of the student athlete with the current tournament teams, I'm not so sure increasing the teams is such a good idea. The graduation rate of the college athlete isn't something you'd write home about.
96 team field would have 30 seeded teams playing 90 seeded teams. Not sure that would be very exciting. Currently the tournament lasts for three weeks. The NCAA is still wanting to keep the same time schedule (so they don't interfere with the Masters golf tournament) but play on Tuesday and Wednesday also. This would create a problem for the student athlete, as they would be out of class for the entire second week of the tournament.
Now we go back to talking about what comes first. The sport or academics. I'm sure the controversy will continue no matter what is decided. I just hope in the end it isn't the money that wins the argument, but those arguing have the student's careers in mind first.
A bit more sports news for those that are still reading. Jim Boeheim of Syracuse was voted college basketball coach of the year with 38 votes of the 65 member media panel. Robert Montgomery Knight was not up for election this year. Had he been, he would have collected all 65 votes himself. At least Gene Keady or John Calipari didn't win either!
In the NIT, the Dayton Flyers defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels 79-68.
Basketball will continue Saturday, with the Final Four teams competing in Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium. Butler Bulldogs are playing the Michigan State Spartans and Duke Blue Devils are against West Virginia.
Hopefully the Dogs are still playing Monday night and are the eventually champions!

Another Customer Experience Story
On March 27, I received an email telling me on March 27 I would no longer be able to get my email through my yahoo account. The email gave me instructions to change over to the new, smoother, quicker system. Ha! I also have to move all my saved emails, folders, and contacts too. Again, they provide simple, easy instructions to follow to make this transition an easy process. Again, ha!
After trying several times and getting different responses and outcomes with each attempt, I decide to call the 1-800 number provided. I wish I had one dollar for each time I heard,
"We are experiencing an unusual
busy period. Your call is very
important to us. Your call will
be answered in the order it was
received. Your estimated wait
time is less than....
30 minutes"
30 minutes!!! Wow! I did wait, but it was longer than any 30 minutes!
I was debating weather to let them know they need to re-record their message because the wait time was well over 30 minutes! But, I didn't.
In the best southern Georgia voice the lady on the other end of the line says, "May I have your telephone number, can you verify the name on the account, can you verify the address. Thank you and and I apologize for any inconvenience, how may I help you today?"
I explain to her about my email situation and she is quick to respond by telling me the server for them is down right now and they are quickly working on a solution and everything should be resolved by tomorrow. Until then I will not be able to do anything.
"Is there anything else I can assist you with today?" asks my southern Georgia friend. "No, not today, but if I have to call back tomorrow if I am still experiencing problems, is there a direct line I could call since I've been on the line for 58 minutes and 17 seconds?" I ask.
Again, she is very sorry and apologetic for any inconvenience and problems I am having, but at this time, there is only the one number. Great! Hopefully I won't have to call them tomorrow!
Since I had nothing else, she completed the ticket and thanked me for calling. "You have a blessed day," she said.
As soon as I got off the phone, I check my email. To my surprise I had a new message:
Hmmm, pretty quick, huh?
With any luck, the server will be up and running tomorrow...I'll keep you posted!

Some Really Good Advice
Personality - Part II
Part two of a four part series. This post will be about personality.
Don't compare your life to the life of others. You might think you know what their journey is all about, but in reality, you have no idea at all.
Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
Don't over do. Keep you limits.
Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.
Dream more while you are awake.
Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner of his or her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness. If you are still talking of past issues, you haven't really forgotten them. If you had, you wouldn't still be talking about it!
Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.
Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
Smile and laugh more.
You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
If all of us learned and lived by these simple instructions, wouldn't this world be a much more beautiful, loving, and caring place? All of us are human and sometimes our fleshly body gets the best of us, me included.
Let's all take time to examine ourselves and realize what is truly in our heart. It's not going to be that difficult to put the right foot forward.
I know I've forgotten the past and I'm going to smile and laugh more!
